• Is my car compatible?
• Compatible if your car has factory-installed wired CarPlay or Android Auto. If it doesn't support it, the adapter cannot add it. BMW and Tesla are not supported.
• I'm being asked for a Wi-Fi password.
• Do not enter a password: after Bluetooth pairing, Wi-Fi will connect automatically. If you clicked on the hotspot, forget the adapter's Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, plug it back in, and then pair again.
• Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled, but automatic reconnection fails.
• If this happens occasionally, unplug and then plug the adapter back in. If it still happens, check the automatic CarPlay/Wi-Fi connection, forget the Bluetooth pairing, restart your phone, and then pair again.
• The adapter was working, then stopped.
• Check that no other phones are connected. Reset the screen, forget Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, reconnect, and then re-pair. On Android, also clear the Google Play services cache, reconnect, and then re-pair.
• Does the adapter drain the battery?
• The adapter draws very little power, like a USB flash drive, and does not normally drain the battery. Some vehicles keep the USB port powered after the vehicle is turned off; this is normal. You can remove it for extended parking.
