What is the internal battery for? A. The internal battery is intended to record when your car is parked. This is not a rechargeable camera and must be connected to your car's cigarette lighter for normal operation. Q. What if the dash cam keeps turning on and off? A. Make sure you have a secure connection to the power source. If it continues, reset the dash cam to factory settings. Q. Why is my memory card filling up? A. The dash cam is equipped with a G-sensor. When it senses an impact, it will lock the video file for safety (assumes there was a crash). Too many locked files will fill up the memory card and it will need to be formatted to free up space.
