About This

• Presents as a wireless headset to infotainment systems requiring a headset for CarPlay use. The MaedHawk Bypass must be switched to rider role in the device manager screen to enable CarPlay. Make sure the MaedHawk adapter is not paired to your phone and only the bike.
• Ideal for new motorcycle infotainment systems allowing CarPlay to play through the speakers without carrying a motorcycle headset. The Motorcycles Infotainment system must support a Bluetooth headset connection.
• Infotainment system must support wireless CarPlay that requires a paired wireless headset. Device does not convert wired CarPlay to wireless, only presents as a headset for this requirement. Unable to convert bikes that do not support carplay to ones that support.
• Will not work as a microphone for Siri, Google Assistant or phone calls. Enjoy music and navigation prompts through your bike's your speakers without bringing a headset along for the ride! It can only be used as a wireless headphone to activate the original CarPlay function of the motorcycles.
• Passthrough USB C port allows for phone charging. If your bike has a USB port, you will need a USB-A to USB-C female adapter. Ensure that your motorcycle supports wired or wireless CarPlay, just require bluetooth headset to be connected to activate CarPlay/Android Auto.
• The CVO model needs to be the year 23.5 or newer. Does not work on Non CVO BOOM infotainment systems. Note that HD bike with the BOOM system may require the headset module from HD. Wired carplay to wireless carplay requires WHIM module (confirm that WHIM is activated). Unable to convert Android Auto to CarPlay.

• Please be advised that the power supply port of some 2026 Harley motorcycles is not compatible with BYPASS due to the PD protocol.
• I f the blue indicator light on the BYPASS fails to turn on or the USB-C port won’t charge
• Adjust the connection sequence: Plug in the BYPASS unit first, then connect your charging cable. Reverse the charging cable: Flip the iPhone cable where it plugs into the BYPASS passthrough port For AI BOX use, switch to a USB 3.2 cable.

• Maedhawk Carplay adapter is applicable
• Your motorcycle must have CarPlay/Android Auto function already, have a Bluetooth communicator and that it be connected to the motorcycle and active before it will allow Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
• The Motorcycles Infotainment system must support a Bluetooth headset connection. Note that Harley motorcycles with the BOOM system may require the headset module from Harley Davidson. Wired carplay to wireless carplay requires WHIM module (WHIM needs to be activated).
• Why does it still not work when plugged into the motorcycle?
• Important to verify the Bypass is showing connected on the Device Manager screen,verify the Role is set to Rider and not Passenger. Showing connected but CarPlay still will not open the problem will be with your connection from the iPhone to the bike
• What bike models are the Bypass CarPlay adapter suitable for?
• Any motorcycle that requires a Bluetooth headset to be connected to activate CarPlay and come equipped with the wireless headset module. Such as Harley 2023 CVO’s and 2024-2026 touring models with the 12.3” screen, Indian, Honda Gold Wing, etc.
• Can it convert wired CarPlay to wireless CarPlay?
• No, Maedhawk Bypass cannot be directly converted to wireless CarPlay. Wireless CarPlay only works with the 2023 CVO’s and 2024-2026 touring models with the 12.3” screen.
• Why can't I use it on Android auto?
