• Why the brakes do not lock when the test button is pressed?
• The test button of this solar breakaway controller is only designed to indicate the status of the battery.
• Why there is no LED illuminating when the test button is pressed?
• Controller might has run out of power and needs charging. Ensure the wires are connected well, apply the brake for 20s. If indicator does not illuminate, apply the brakes for another 20s before connecting it to the auxiliary battery for activation.
• Why the charging LED is not on when tow vehicle is applying brakes and the trailer plug is engaged?
• Check if the wires are connected well, then applying the brake for 20s. If it does not work, apply the brakes for another 20 seconds before connecting it to the auxiliary battery for activation. If it still does not work, please contact ATEM POWER.
