• Ever had items slide to the cab of your truck and had to climb in the back of the truck to get them? Or have you loaded your truck up with so much gear it takes forever to unload? Have you ever twisted your knee or ankle getting down from the back of your truck? Bed Buddi is the must-have truck accessory for all truck owners. It mounts MAGNETICALLY, quickly and easily, to the truck bed walls so it is out of the way when not in use, but easily accessible when needed. The tool provides an extra 5 feet of reach when extended and comes installed with a flat bladed steel spade to accommodate a variety of item types.
• Bed Buddi prevents the need to climb up into, or worse...out of, the bed of the truck - in which twisted knee or sprained ankle injuries often occur. Once in the back of the truck, lower back injuries are common when bending to lift heavy objects. With Bed Buddi, you can now simply pull the items you need to the tailgate and easily carry them away without the risk of bending, lifting or climbing.
• These common injuries for routine tasks can completely ruin your camping/hunting/fishing/whatever trip or knock out a valued employee at a tremendous loss and cost to your business. This tool can save you time, money, pain, and/or vacation memories you may otherwise have missed.
• Bed Buddi was specifically designed to be readily available when needed. No more going to the garage to get a hook or a golf club to pull gear out of your truck. No more storing bulky hooks in the cab or climbing in the back of your truck to retrieve your retrieval tool which has itself slid all the way to the cab. The magnet mounts and retracted size keep the tool right where you need it, when you need it, but more importantly, up and out of the way when you don't.
• When retracted, Bed Buddi is only 1', 8" in length. That is important because it allows the tool to be mounted in many different locations, depending on personal preference or the specific requirements of various truck bed designs. (See various mounting location options below). It is small enough to fit mounted vertically without interfering with truck bed covers, or horizontally behind the wheel-wells of full-sized trucks.
• Bed Buddi is extremely Heavy Duty. The image here shows 6 Bed Buddi cases, each weighing roughly 42 lbs., stacked on a pallet and being successfully pulled from the cab to the tailgate. That's over 250lbs and doesn't include the weight of the pallet itself. Only reason we didn't continue the stress test was because we ran out of cases. The telescoping pole is metal, and the spade is welded steel. This is the toughest retrieval tool of its kind on the market.
• Neodymium magnet mounts with 27lbs of pull-force. Keeps your reach-tool locked in place even in rough terrain.
• Metal mounting plate for trucks with aluminum beds, heavily sprayed or plastic bedliners.
• Elongated steel spade for extra reach, durability and directional flexibility
• Rugged quick-release clasps make extending and retracting the telescoping pole easy. No more clumsy twist & lock poles!
• This is an absolute MUST-HAVE for folks with truck bed covers in which reaching over the side for item retrieval is no longer an option.
