• How to update software for Autel MD806?
• To ensure a successful update, please follow the steps below. Do not connect the scanner directly via USB, as this will cause issues .
• Update Procedure
• Step 1. Take out the SD card from the MD806 and format the SD card to FAT32 format with a card reader via your computer. (Delete all the information on the SD card); Step 2. Download and install the Maxi PC Suite from our official website onto your Windows computer; Step 3. Install and run Maxi PC Suite on PC, log in Autel ID(enter your Autel ID and Password), you will get the list of softwares, then install ALL the programs on SD card; Step 4. Insert the SD card back into the MD806 and turn the device on.
• Important Notes
• 1)You must register your MD806 on the Autel official website before updating. 2) Software updates are only supported on Windows computers; macOS is not compatible.
• Autel code reader MD806 allows you to read codes, clear codes (turn off the SRS indicator light), and read live data in Supplementary Restraint System to ensure it works fine.
