Just plug it into the USB / AUX IN port in your car and pair it with your Android, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via Bluetooth
For bluetooth mode, you can only change songs from the smartphone, can not control over music from the iDrive system , the playlist will not be displayed on the car screen
For USB mode, you could charge your device or use the USB function to listen music (listen music: the Disk must be FAT32 format and *.mp3 file , note that few MMI system don't support USB function)
Vehicle compatibility: BMW 1/3/5/6/7 series (2004~2016) and BMW X1 X3 X5 X6 Z4 (2006~2013) and Mini Cooper R55, R56, R57 (2007~2016), also for vehicles with USB/Audio interface (option S6FLA)
Notice: NOT compatible iDrive, this adapter fits BMW and MINI cooper models with AUX IN and USB ports and BMW's without an in dash navigation system/screen
