• BLUETOOTH CONNECTION: Supports Bluetooth LE for iOS & Android (not WiFi): please connect from within the app after setting the correct connection type. Also supports classic Bluetooth for certain Android Apps. Android head units may not be supported.
• NOTE ON VEHICLE-SPECIFIC DATA: Availability of advanced data (e.g. EV battery SOH, transmission temperature) depends on the vehicle make, model and year. We recommend getting the Car Scanner ELM OBD2 app to verify if a suitable connection profile is available for your vehicle or the specific data you wish to monitor.
• NOTE ON ADVANCED FUNCTIONS: Advanced diagnostics (e.g. ABS, SRS, TPMS, BCM) may be available for certain vehicles through compatible third-party apps, which are usually paid. Special functions such as injector coding, EPB reset, ABS bleeding and oil/service resets are NOT supported.
• APP COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with Car Scanner ELM OBD2, Torque (for Android), OBD Fusion, as well as vehicle-specific Apps like BimmerCode*, BimmerLink*, OBD JScan, Dr. Prius, etc. Note: some Apps or in-App features require separate purchase from third party developers. NOT compatible with Carly, MHD, xHP, ProTool, bootmod3, etc.
• *APP LIMITATIONS: Model year before 2008 are not supported when used with BimmerCode or BimmerLink. In addition for BimmerCode, G & U series are not supported. MS-CAN NOT supported in FORScan and AlfaOBD App.

The OBDCheck BLE+ directly plugs into your vehicle and connects to an OBD II App on your iOS or Android device via Bluetooth. Whenever you have a check engine light on or want to see how your car is performing, it will be a very useful gadget for you.
• Is there an App included with the item? Do I need a subscription to use it?
• No. You need to get a compatible third-party App from the App Store or Play Store. Be cautious of imitation apps that require a subscription. Only use the recommended apps to ensure proper functionality and avoid unnecessary charges.
• What vehicles are supported when using it with BimmerCode or BimmerLink App?
• Currently only 2008+ models are supported for the two apps. Additionally, G or U series is not fully supported in BimmerCode; please choose OBDCheck EW. Check the App website for details.
• Does it work on electric vehicles?
• EVs do not have standard OBD-II systems so they require special Apps to connect, for example Car Scanner ELM OBD2 (with the appropriate EV connection profiles), and not all of them are compatible. Also it's limited to battery system reading.
• How to connect on iOS and Android?
• Android: same as iOS if the App supports Bluetooth LE. Otherwise, pair the device in phone Bluetooth, set to Bluetooth in the App to connect.
• 1. When I try to connect “VEEPEAK” with my iPhone or iPad, it tells me it is not supported, or it connects but disconnects shortly.
• You will see this issue when trying to connect from iOS Bluetooth Settings. This device uses Bluetooth LE for iOS devices and requires connecting in the App. Please restart your iOS device so “VEEPEAK” shows up again, then start the OBD App, set the connection type to Bluetooth LE and connect in the App (refer to the setup guide in product images or user instructions).
• 2. Could not pair my Android device with “VEEPEAK”.
• For most Apps like Car Scanner, skip the pairing and select Bluetooth LE in the App to connect. If the App requires Bluetooth pairing, try the following: Turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on. Try pairing a few more times; Turn off WiFi & cellular data and try again; Disconnect other Bluetooth devices; Restart your Android device; Clear Bluetooth data cache.
• 3. App not connecting to Veepeak device.
• Make sure the App is compatible, and you have made the correct App connection settings (especially connection type which should be set to Bluetooth or Bluetooth LE) and granted the App permissions ; Remove and re-install the app (especially when you have an OS update or the App is not used for some time); Try with a different App.
