The backing of the mirror is mounted onto a standard-size stud with an integrated ball joint. The ball allows the mirror to pivot as needed, while maintaining rigidity against vibrations.

• RETRAC convex mirrors are also available with a built-in heating element. This heater is perfect for cold climates, evenly defrosting the glass and keeping your view clear, in spite of the temperature. Heated convex mirrors come with a blunt-cut wiring harness.
• To add even more visibility to your blind spots and maximize the tilting angle, select RETRAC mirrors can be purchased with an offset ball stud. The ball connection is positioned off to one side of the round backing. Center-mount ball stud options are also available.
