• The OCM Brand Classic Car Duster with included storage cover offers exceptional quality and performance at a great value. The long duster mop head (3" wide X 13.25" long) combined with a long solid wood handle ( 22.5" combined length ) is ideal for reaching into tight spaces on your vehicle. We recommend that you DO NOT WASH THE DUSTER HEAD. The Duster features a specially formulated wax that is infused into its 100% soft cotton fiber threads. This enables the duster to gently lift and remove dust. OCM uses the softest threads to protect your paint from scratches. Because the threads are 100% cotton, the new duster may leave some lint and wax residue during its first few times of initial use. This is normal and will go away once it is broken-in. The more it is used the softer and better it gets. Frequently shake the duster before, during and after use. • That’s a Wrap- Our wax infused Ca r Dusters are safe for all automotive paint surfaces. The wax helps lift dust and protects your paint finish at the same time, however some may or may not experience additional wax residue in the beginning few uses (it is SAFE and will wash off ). I f this is unsatisfactory to you, we recommend to wrap your new car duster in newspaper and set outside in the warm sun for a couple of days. This will help reduce any excess wax that may have accumulated from the factory.
• We use multiple rows of thick, long 100% Cotton Fiber Threads that are heat infused with our specially formulated wax. This wax enables our duster to help lift the dust, pollen and debris from your vehicles surface safely while leaving a protective wax coating for that just washed sheen.
• There’s a very good reason why most Auto Museums, Car Detailers and Classic Car Enthusiasts hands-down prefer natural cotton fiber car dusters over the more inferior Microfiber Car Dusters.
• Cotton is a Natural Fiber and Microfiber is Synthetic.
• Cotton will become softer and more absorbent over time (just like your favorite t-shirt or towel).
• Microfiber is a continuous synthetic filament fiber comprised of polyester and polyamide (a nylon byproduct). Over time, Microfiber will tangle itself into tiny knots with sharp edges that can entrap debris that may leave behind fine scratches on your paints finish.
